The New York Association for Volunteer Administration (NYAVA) is a membership organization dedicated to promoting professionalism and strengthening leadership in volunteerism in the New York City area.

We hope our online home will provide you with the information you need to thrive in the world of volunteer administration.

Principles and Practicies of Volunteer Program Management

When: Thursdays, October 16, 23, and 30, 2008

Taught by Maria Casey, the Director of Volunteer Resources of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Metro New York, the course will give participants essential components for building an outstanding volunteer resource program including:
