The New York Association for Volunteer Administration is a membership organization for professionals who share a commitment to excellence in volunteerism. NYAVA's membership includes volunteer managers working in the nonprofit, public and private sectors as well as consultants, agency executives, trainers, researchers and human resources personnel.

NYAVA is a volunteer-driven, membership organization -- we have no paid staff. Members are encouraged to serve on the committees that formulate our policies and carry out our mission and goals.
