Vivienne Segelbacher

Director of Volunteer Programs

Vivienne Segelbacher is the Director of Volunteer Programs for Citymeals-on-Wheels. Vivienne has been with Citymeals since July, 2005, and she has the overall responsibility for the expansion and implementation of volunteer programs that provide contact, connection and companionship to meal-on-wheels recipients in New York City. Vivienne oversees five core programs at Citymeals-on-Wheels, which thus far as resulted in over 15,000 volunteers providing over 68,000 hours of volunteer service to the community. Before joining Citymeals-on-Wheels, Vivienne spent ten years at God’s Love We Deliver where she developed and implemented programs, plans and procedures to enhance recruitment, selection and placement of volunteers. Vivienne worked with Fortune 500 Companies, Foundations, Educational Institutions, Community Programs, State and Government agencies. Vivienne has served on several boards such as CEO – Center for Employment Opportunities, and Alternative Spring Break, and is currently on the Board of Directors for PAWSNY and the Advisory Board of RSVP – Retired Senior Volunteer Programs as well as the Advisory Committee for the Ad Council. Vivienne has a B.S. degree in Biological Sciences, and a Master’s in Sociology. She currently owns her own Home Furnishings and Children’s wholesale/retail business in Essex County, New Jersey where she also resides.
